The opening ceremony will be held on January 8 at 11:00 AM on the mezzanine floor of Hall 4 at ICCB. The event will be graced by Chief Guest Mr. Sheikh Bashir Uddin, Advisor to the Ministry of Commerce, Textiles, and Jute, and Special Guest Mr. Young-Sik, Ambassador of Korea to Bangladesh. Representatives from various sector-related organizations will also be present at the event.

For over 21 years, GTB has been bringing global apparel technologies under one roof. The exhibition will provide opportunities to explore various accessories, including cutting, sewing, finishing, embroidery machinery, spare parts, and more. Additionally, leading BGAPMEA members will showcase their latest innovations in garment accessories and packaging at the exhibition.

Despite challenges in 2024, Bangladesh’s RMG sector looks forward to 2025 with optimism. Inflation rates have declined in major markets like Europe and America, leading to the return of Western buyers. The sector achieved a 6.23% growth in export earnings in 2024, reflecting resilience despite political instability and labor unrest.

According to Mr. Tipu Sultan Bhuiyan, Managing Director of ASK Trade & Exhibitions Private Limited, “We are observing an increase in order volumes and effective utilization. Another significant trend is the diversification and expansion of non-cotton apparel, particularly sportswear, driving demand for specialized machinery, which will be highlighted at GTB. The exhibition will showcase the latest innovations in sewing, laundry, finishing, CAD/CAM, and embroidery, making it a unique and essential event with participation from renowned companies worldwide.”

The GTB Garment Technology Bangladesh exhibition, the largest of its kind in the country, covers the entire value chain of garment and textile manufacturing. With dedicated product zones and focused segments, it provides a comprehensive platform for industry stakeholders to find essential products under one roof.

Visitors to the GTB and GAPEXPO exhibitions include decision-makers, technical heads, sourcing teams from various organizations, and business owners from across the country seeking technology, machinery, accessories, packaging, and industrial supplies.
