Staff Reporter : Huawei has hosted ‘Campus NextGen: The Future of Digital Education’ program to showcase future connectivity trends for the digital transformation of Bangladesh’s education system. Organized in collaboration with BRACNet at Huawei Bangladesh Academy in Dhaka, the event demonstrated the latest breakthroughs in technology and product innovations, proven success cases along with Huawei’s forward-looking vision.

In the session, 80 representatives from 30 public and private universities discussed about more connected, robust smart campuses by reducing the challenges like limited access experiences, excessive network layers, operations and maintenance (O&M) issues and cybersecurity risks.

These details were shared in a press release issued by Huawei Bangladesh on Monday.
Huawei presented its advanced 10Gbps Smart Campus Network Solution, alongside technologies such as Fiber to the Office (FTTO) and Data Center Storage (DCS) those are designed to simplify campus network architecture, deliver high-speed and reliable connectivity, ensure robust data security, and streamline network operations for educational institutions.

BRACNet, Huawei’s partner in the education sector, also showcased its infrastructure capabilities at the event. Huawei honored BRACNet for being a trusted partner of Huawei in the digital education sector in Bangladesh. Syed P. F. Ahmed, CEO of BRACNet, and Mukarram Husain, General Manager and Head of Operations of BRACNet, received the award jointly.

Several universities, including BRAC University, Southeast University, East West University, Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTEX), and more are already leveraging Huawei’s smart campus technologies and have reported significant improvements in connectivity, data security, and IT efficiency in the event.
