Staff Reporter : Comilla Modern High School has emerged as the champion of the 10th Prime Bank National School Cricket Tournament for the 2024-25 season.

Since 2015, Prime Bank has been sponsoring the Prime Bank National School Cricket, the largest cricket tournament for young cricketers organized by the Bangladesh Cricket Board where over 66,000 students have participated over the last 10 years. This tournament enables young cricketers to perform at highest standards and helps prepare a solid foundation for the future of Bangladesh’s cricket.

Due to inclement weather and heavy rainfall the final match could not be played. As a result, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) decided to determine the winner through a coin toss. Akash Roy of Bogura Police Lines School and College was the top wicket-taker of the tournament, claiming 11 wickets in 3 matches. In addition to his bowling prowess, Akash also contributed with the bat, scoring 127 runs.
