Staff Reporter : Samsung QLED TVs have been recognized with the ‘Real Quantum Dot Display’ certification from TÜV Rheinland, an international certification organization based in Germany. With this certification, Samsung’s QLED TVs are officially validated as true quantum dot displays.

Quantum dots are tiny semiconductor particles that can produce pure and vibrant colors. Thanks to this technology, Samsung QLED TVs deliver uniform brightness, consistent color from any viewing angle, and reduced blue light for a more comfortable viewing experience along with 100% color volume, certified by PANTONE & VDE.
Following a detailed review under the International Electrotechnical Commission’s guidelines, TÜV Rheinland, analyzed the light spectrum produced by Samsung QLED TVs. The results showed a clear separation between red, green, and blue light, which is an important marker for color accuracy that provides the viewers with a precise and vibrant visual experience.

The Q8F and Q7F QLED 4K models from the newly launched 2025 Series also received this certification.

Speaking on the achievement, Shahriar Bin Lutfor, Director & Head of Business, Samsung Consumer Electronics Division, said, “At Samsung, we constantly keep working to make our customers’ viewing experience better. This certification is a proof that our QLED TVs deliver the most authentic picture quality powered by real quantum dot technology. For the first time, in response to consumer demand,
Samsung has introduced a complete lineup ranging from 43” to 85”. With the 2025 line-up, we are very proud to bring this recognition to our customers in Bangladesh.”
Samsung’s quantum dot technology has also been recognized by SGS, another global testing organization, for being cadmium-free and eco-friendly. By removing harmful heavy metals, Samsung shows that innovation and sustainability can work together seamlessly.
With these recognitions, Samsung leads the way in display technology and offers customers in Bangladesh a next-level home entertainment experience.
